About Hunter Ridge Landscaping

From a push mower to a small local business

Hunter Ridge started out of a need to work outside and help neighbors keep their yards in good shape. Our experience in lawn care and a background in design, means we pay attention to the small things that make a yard look finished and well cared for.

Hard work, honest service, & an eye for detail

We believe in showing up on time, completing every job thoroughly, and leaving each property cleaner than we found it. That means precise mowing lines, neat edging, and blowing off walkways and drives so the whole yard looks cared for. Attention to detail matters to us because a well-kept yard reflects pride in the property and makes daily life a little nicer for homeowners across Campbell County and Lynchburg. Our approach is straightforward, friendly, and focused on building long-term relationships with people who want reliable, thoughtful care.

Caleb Hall

Owner / Operator

I have been working outside for most of my life. The first business I ever started was with my brother and I going door-to-door in my neighborhood offering to cut grass for the neighbors. We had a few realtors that took us up on our (very cheap) lawn services and we used my dad's push mower throughout the summer. My dad even charged us rent for the mower and the gasoline so I learned early on about business and business expenses. Over the years, I decided to pursue a career in design, but I always maintained my love for the outdoors and a good hard day of work.

I started Hunter Ridge Landscaping as a way to keep myself outdoors and a way to build relationships with my community in a way that can help serve my neighbors and my family. I may have started out with an old mower, but I know how to get a job done and I know how to make sure I leave every lawn looking better than when I got there.
